Doing Our Duty

We've had this question come up from all sorts of people: What are you doing for the election?

We contacted the Galllatin County Election Administrator quite some time ago, and arranged for our absentee ballots to be mailed to us in The Netherlands. They didn't think that they'd arrive here in time, but we're pleased to report that they arrived less than a week after they left Bozeman.

That very night we completed our ballots, and Carol purchased international postage for them.

And on Thursday, the 20th of October, we voted. Well, we posted our ballots.

Since it took six days for them to arrive in The Netherlands, we're confident they'll arrive in Bozeman well before the deadline.

If we can do it from this far away, we expect everyone there will be equally eager to exercise their civic responsibility, too.  Go vote!
