En Afrique

Hello, everyone! We aplogize for the lengthy silence, but, as usual, we've been busy!

We finished up our stay at the Molina in Andalucia when boB's parents arrived. We toured Spain for a week with them, and now we're in Morocco! When we have time we'll put up a more detailed post for you, but in the meanwhile here's a wee teaser on Morocco.

Here we are at the scarf shop, preparing for our camel ride tour into the desert.  (It's going to be hot and dusty out there, and we have to be prepared!) boB's moM and daD are getting in the spirit of the adventure just as much as we are, we're all having a great time together.

In Fez Medina these handsome fellows are the equivalent of pick-up trucks. There are no motor vehicles allowed in the Fez Medina... And they wouldn't fit anyway!

Here we are winding our way through the streets on our tour with a local guide. This is a fairly typical street, and even a bit on the wide side! This street wasn't too crowded, but some of the others sure are!

And finally, here's a panoramic view of the Fez. It truly is crazy here compared so the wide open spaces of Montana, Iowa, Scotland ... or anywhere else that we've ever been. It's a completely different world, and it's pretty exciting to see the sights, taste the foods, and, well, smell the smells.

Stay tuned, and in a week or so we'll fill you in with lots more pics and stories. We're off to Marrakech this morning, by train. More adventures to come!

Take care, everyone, and drop us a line if you like.
